AVIATION DAY

​Typically the weekend following school Carnival, the Monticello District hosts Aviation Day at the Gordonsville Airport.  This amazing event offers a family camping opportunity as well as lots of high-flying adventures.  If the wind conditions agree, there will be parachuting in addition to the sun telescopes, observatory, drones, planes, bottle rockets, flight simulator, and more!

Unfortunately, COVID-19 restrictions postponed the event for spring 2020 as well as the planned reschedule that fall, but we are excited to know it is already being planned for spring 2021!

If camping's not your thing, no worries.  A day only discount rate is also available so you and your scout(s) can enjoy the fun and fulfill some elective adventure requirements.
